Life Coaching
Good work-life balance is something many of us struggle with. Are you struggling with keeping your job and home life in the right proportion?
Are the demands on your time too much? Are home or work relationships causing you internal conflict? Are you struggling to get back into the workplace after working from home during COVID-19?
Making sure you use your energies efficiently these days with so many demands on your time is hard. Are you spending time on the right things? Is the balance between your work and personal life correct?
I am here to help!
We can focus on - your work, your home, flexible working, relationships, priorities, timekeeping, keeping all those things in balance. Often we don’t know which of these things might be the starting point but by meeting and talking together we can figure that out. We can create a plan and set you goals which you can work towards. This might take a few weeks, a few months or indeed a couple of years. I have clients which return on an annual basis for a healthy check in on how they are doing. They often say I keep them on track and sane.
Work-life Coaching example:
Elizabeth - Health Service Professional, NHS
Elizabeth (name changed for confidential reasons) had a busy job working in the NHS. She was a manager responsible for a major service. Like many people, she struggled with the demand on her time and often found herself working very long days and weekends – always running to catch up – fire fighting and unable to satisfy her customer demands.
Elizabeth and I spent time together talking about her role and demands on her time. I was able to help her think about the type of work she was doing and how to use her time more effectively. As a result, she was able to free up some time for more strategic thinking and planning. She gained a stronger influence over the hospital resources and began to change how they could run the service better.
Here is Elizabeth’s testimonial:
“Talking to Pamela helped me see the wood through the trees. She made me realise how bogged down I had become with the day-to-day grind, and how I might get more control out of the resources at my disposal.”
